Boarding Flight to Belfast. Stewardess is wearing raindeer ears, literally every passenger is giving off about it being too early. I’m here for it.

“If you’ve been waiting for the right time to upgrade to PRO…”
Yep. That’s exactly it. The lack of a 20% email is the only reason I haven’t signed into your app in 3 years.
Actually feels wrong to be this snarky on Mastodon. I apologise.
-
I really love that thing Mastodon does where it only shows me content I’ve opted into, and doesn’t try to trick me into wasting time reading rubbish and getting angry just so it can sell advertising. Really clever stuff.

Politics
Two weeks ago I was worried about this happening. Now I kinda think it’d be funny to let him back into a party where everyone else has already left.

-
I think if I never saw another ad that’s just one person filming themselves playing all the characters that would be ok.

Found the ligatures feature in Glyphs...

DMs on Mastodon still don’t make sense to me… is there a particular benefit to the way they work, or is it a case of “it’s a workable hack for now and we haven’t got around to improving it”?

Doing a type design workshop and how are k’s hard

Love these idents by Studio Dumbar for North Sea Jazz Festival
-
Noticing I don’t get push notifications from the Mastodon iOS app… is that something I need to set up properly or is it just not a thing?
-
Working on trying to make our “Goldilocks” grid options intuitive.
Do these icons make sense for Main / Wide / Full / Fullbleed?
Also: do you write Fullbleed or Full Bleed?

Procrastinating with animation (procrastimation?) on @[email protected]
-
Exploring Mastondon for people to follow and finding tons of folks sharing really interesting work, like Twitter circa 2010.
What’s striking me is how *safe* it feels to explore… no random strangers shouting at each other. (I’m sure they exist, but they’re not being amplified)

The new Community Gothic by @[email protected] is lovely
