Oh for the optimism of someone resending their Black Friday email because the first one had a broken link
-
Oh the huge manatee

I’ve been using xscope since ~2009 (mostly to check hex codes). Can’t remember how much I paid back then but I’ve got more than my moneys worth, and now it’s only $20 for its 20th birthday

Did they just… turn the 5 upside down to make a 2?

-
Just saw an ad for rugby in the US with the headline “No pads. No helmets. No fear.” and maybe it’s the covid fever but I find that hilarious for some reason.

New York does not suffer amateurs lightly.

New York: where guys shave their pubes at the sink of public bathrooms, apparently

And so it begins

To be clear, the “it” I’m referring to isn’t designers being replaced by AI, it’s marketers thinking designers can be replaced by AI

In the short term this may make some ads more effective, but in the long term it’s just going to train people to associate the AI aesthetic with low-quality advertising (the same journey the Unsplash aesthetic has been on)

Anyone here attending RGD Design Thinkers in Toronto today/tomorrow?
-
Going to be in NYC next week, any design events on I should check out?
-
Almost sadistically curious to discover what horrors YYZ customs & baggage has in store for me today
-
Oh hi Toronto, looking good
